I don't do well at Goodwill. The smell makes me ill. Does that sound snotty or what? I do enjoy the 80%-90% off aisle of Hobby Lobby. Scored a triplicate of candle pillars that were brown and scratched up, and sprayed them black. That's about the extent of my craftiness. I just don't have the vision y'all seem to have.
I don't go thrifting. I sell at a consignment sale..but I don't buy. Does that make me snobby?? My issue is that I want to find what I want...where I expect it to be. I don't enjoy shopping - and so do not have the patience for treasure hunting.
Do you read "A soft place to land?" She finds such beautiful things. Well...she finds things and makes them beautiful. I don't have the vision. Or the crafty gene.
