Troop Love

When I told y'all about my sweet son, Caleb, going to Iraq before, some of you asked for his mailing address. He called last Sunday and was feeling a little down. He said he feels like a loser when the mail comes and there is nothing for him. :( Poor baby!! Mama sends something about once a week, but I guess he'd like to hear from someone other than me. So if y'all want to spread some bloggy love to a lonely sailor, far from home, please do! We can't forget these young people, it is our duty - just like they are doing their duty!!

GIRL--would he freak if I sent him a Christmas card? A photo card of our family, that is? 'Cause I will so do it. And he will be afraid of me, but that's OK. He needs to know that we love and appreciate him.

I'm writing down his address now...

Okay, I am so sending him some mail. My daughter in the navy can send him some mail too. Consider it done. Thanks for your visits.

We will send mail. How fun. Maybe even a package. And you know that I am always looking for an excuse to shop...

Very cool!! Maybe we'll send him something. I don't know any soldiers, so it would be a good experience for us to send a letter. My boys would love it.
