My Goals for 2009

I have read so many posts about resolutions. Should you make them? Are they a waste of time? After much pondering, I decided that it is important to have goals in my life. Without goals, how do we know what to aim for? So for me, setting a goal, whether I make it or just make a good attempt is necessary:

I would like to live a healthier lifestyle including nutritious eating and becoming more physically active, clear out the clutter in my home and in my mind, save some money, spend more quality time with my kids, create a date night with my husband and do at least one thing a day, no matter how small, for myself.

Ok, I feel better now! Did you set goals for yourself or not? Let me know!

I am not a resolution maker. I need a short term goal. Things that I can easily knock off the to do list. I think baby steps are just the ticket.

And your word verification is craking me up = sadwina.

Great post! Realistic, for sure! Definitely sounds like you're off to a good start! Way to go!

I personally think it's too hard to make a resolution - because, well, it's too easy to be unrealistic and then disappointed when it doesn't happen.

Hugs!

I think goals are always important, I think people just go to big on New Years. Mine are smaller. More daily things.
